5go grudnia trzeba koniecznie wyczyscic wszystkie buty jakie sa w domu (nawet rodzicow!), a do swoich ulubionych wlozyc list do sw.Mikolaja. List moze byc napisany lub narysowany. Dla pewnosci, mozna go zaadresowac:

Swięty Mikołaj odwiedza nas w dniu swoich imienin, 6go grudnia, gdy jest jeszcze bardzo ciemno. Wtedy zabiera dzieciece listy, a do butow wklada slodycze i drobne prezenty.
Jest to ostrzezenie, by maly czlowiek poprawil sie do Swiat Bozego Narodzenia.
W dobie XXI wieku dzieci moga wyslylac list do sw.Mikolaja via e-mail. Wtedy chyba trzeba dobrze wyczyscic monitor komputera (?). Tylko kto wie, jak Santa Claus radzi sobie wowczas z tymi slodyczami ...

On December 5th, you all definitely must clean all the shoes in your house (even your parents'), and in your favorite pair put a letter to Saint Nicholas. The letter can be written or drawn. To be certain, you can address it:
Santa P.O. Box 56799
North Pole, Alaska 99705-1799

Saint Nicholas visits us all on his name day, December 6th, while its still dark. In doing this, he takes the letters, and into your shoes he puts candy and magnificent presents. He ignores the dirty shoes, and can throw them angrily around the house. Its terribly hard to find them after. If the child was bad throughout the year, instead of candy, Saint puts a birch for beating (Polish, "rózga") in their shoes. It's a little warning for the child to better herself/himself before Christmas.
In the twenty-first century, children can send their letter to Saint Nicholas via EMAIL. However, it might be hard for Santa to send you candy through the computer monitor.
